Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use GoldRatesDaily.com, its app, notifications, widgets and social media channels (together, "the service"), run by GoldRatesDaily ("we", "us"). Please read them with our Privacy Policy. In short: our rates are a helpful guide, not a quote; jewellers on the marketplace are responsible for what they sell; play fair with referrals and the lucky draw; and don't misuse the site.

1. Accepting these terms

By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, buy, sell or enter the lucky draw. If you use the service for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. Rates and information

Gold, silver, metal and currency rates are indicative. They are calculated from international market data and exchange rates as explained on our methodology page, and are updated regularly but not continuously.
Rates are not an offer to buy or sell. Jewellers', banks' and exchange companies' prices include making charges, deductions (katt), taxes and their own margins, and can differ from ours.
Articles, videos, calculators, charts and FAQs are general information. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal or religious advice. Past prices do not predict future prices. Check important decisions (including zakat) with a qualified person.
We work hard to be accurate, but data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Always confirm the final price with the seller before you pay.

3. Your account

Give accurate details and keep them up to date. One personal account per person.
Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
We may ask you to confirm your email or identity (for example before paying out a prize).
You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

4. Jewellery marketplace

Products are sold either by GoldRatesDaily or by independent jewellers whose shops we approve ("sellers"). Each product page shows who the seller is. When you buy from a seller, your contract of sale is with that seller; we provide the platform.
Sellers are responsible for their listings: description, photos, weight, karat/purity, hallmark, price, stock, delivery, after-sales service and any warranty. We review shops but cannot inspect every item.
Branded products (for example bullion bars) are resold in their original packaging. Brand names belong to their owners and are used only to describe the product.
Product photos are illustrations; handmade pieces can differ slightly in weight and finish. The weight and karat on your invoice are what count.

5. Orders, prices and payment

Most prices follow the live gold rate: gold value (weight × purity × today's rate) + the seller's making charge, shown separately. The price is fixed when you place your order and is shown on your order page.
If a seller has set a minimum price and the live price falls below it, online ordering pauses for that item and you can contact the seller for a quote instead.
An order is accepted when the seller confirms it. A seller may cancel an order (for example if the item is out of stock or a price was clearly wrong); any payment made is then refunded.
Online payments are processed by the payment provider you choose (such as JazzCash or Easypaisa) under its own terms. We never see your card number or wallet PIN. Cash on delivery, bank transfer and pay-at-store, where offered, follow the instructions on your order page.
Prices include or exclude taxes as shown at checkout. Keep your invoice — you may need it for resale, customs or zakat.

6. Delivery, cancellations and returns

Delivery times, charges and areas are set by each seller and shown at checkout or confirmed by the seller. Check the parcel and its seal on delivery and report any problem straight away.
Because gold prices change constantly and many items are made or sized to order, returns and exchanges follow our Refund & Return Policy, which sets the minimum every seller must meet; a seller's own policy can be more generous. Your rights under Pakistani consumer-protection law are not affected.
You can ask to cancel an order before it is dispatched; if the gold rate has moved, the seller may apply the difference or a reasonable charge they told you about in advance.
If you have a problem with a seller you can't resolve, contact us — we will try to help, and we may suspend sellers who don't treat customers fairly.

7. Rules for jewellers (sellers)

Jewellers also accept our Seller Agreement, which sets out listings, pricing, delivery, commission, payouts and returns in full. The main rules are:

Only list items you have the right to sell, with honest weight, karat, hallmark and photos you own or are allowed to use. No counterfeit or misdescribed goods.
Honour orders and prices shown at the time of the order, deliver as promised, and handle customer data only to fulfil orders.
Pay the commission agreed for your shop. We may hold, adjust or refuse payouts linked to fraud, chargebacks or serious complaints.
Follow all laws that apply to you, including tax, hallmarking, consumer and anti-money-laundering rules. We may suspend or remove a shop or listing that breaks these terms.

8. Referrals and the lucky draw

The monthly lucky draw is free to enter and runs under its official rules, which form part of these terms. No purchase is necessary.
Referral rewards are for genuine new members only. Accounts created by the same person, from the same connection, or with fake details don't count.
Share and tag tasks need proof of your own real post, story or comment. Edited, borrowed or fake proof is rejected. Only tag people who are happy to be tagged.
We may withhold entries or prizes, disqualify accounts and recover prizes obtained by cheating, and we may change or cancel the draw if required by law or for reasons outside our control. Our decision on eligibility is final, acting reasonably.
The draw is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, X, TikTok or Telegram.

9. Content you send us

When you send us content — product listings, shop logos, photos, screenshots for share tasks, enquiries, reviews or messages — you confirm you have the right to share it and that it is lawful and accurate. You keep ownership, and you allow us to store, display, resize and use it to run and promote the service (for example showing your product on the marketplace). Screenshots for share tasks are kept private and used only to check entries. We may remove any content that breaks these terms.

10. Notifications, the app and social media

Price alerts and other notifications are optional. You choose the topics and can turn them off at any time from the 🔔 button or your device settings. Alerts can be delayed or missed (for example if your device is offline), so don't rely on them alone for time-critical decisions.
The app installs from our website and updates itself; it shows the same information as the site and may show the last saved rates when you are offline.
Our posts on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, X and Telegram are general information and follow these terms; your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.

11. Free widgets and our data

You may embed our free rate widgets on your website using the code from our widget page, without changing how they work and with the credit link to GoldRatesDaily.com left in place.
You may share our rate cards, videos and articles with a link back to us. You may not copy our data or content in bulk, scrape or mirror the site, resell our rates, or present them as your own.
We may change, limit or withdraw widgets and data feeds at any time, and block use that overloads the service or breaks these terms.

12. Things you must not do

Break the law, defraud anyone, or launder money through the marketplace.
Interfere with the service: hacking, probing for weaknesses, overloading it, or using bots, scrapers or automated accounts.
Create fake accounts, fake referrals or fake proof, or try to manipulate the lucky draw.
Post anything false, misleading, offensive, infringing or harmful, or spam other users and sellers.
Use other people's personal data from the service for anything other than the order or enquiry it was shared for.

13. Our content and brand

The site's design, text, articles, videos, rate cards, data compilations, software and the GoldRatesDaily name and logo belong to us or our licensors. Apart from what these terms allow (sharing with a link, embedding our widgets), you need our written permission to use them. Trademarks of other companies belong to their owners.

14. Other websites and services

The service links to and uses other services — payment providers, maps, social networks, advertising and analytics partners. We are not responsible for their content, products or policies. Ads and affiliate links are labelled or clearly separate from our own content; buying through them is between you and the advertiser.

15. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that rates and information will be complete, current or suitable for your purposes. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or losses from relying on rates, articles, alerts or calculators. For anything else, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us (not a seller) in the 12 months before the claim. We are not responsible for a seller's products or services, but we will help where we reasonably can. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or anything that cannot be limited by law.

17. Your responsibility to us

If you break these terms or the law while using the service (for example by listing counterfeit items or posting infringing content) and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses.

18. Suspension and closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account, shop or listing, or remove draw entries, if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, to protect users, or if required by law. Where possible we will tell you why. You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time; completed orders, payouts owed and legal obligations survive.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem quickly and informally. If that doesn't work, disputes will be decided by the competent courts of Pakistan, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes or the law requires. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes will be highlighted on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
