This policy explains what information GoldRatesDaily ("we") collects when you use goldratesdaily.com, why, and the choices you have. You can read gold and silver rates without giving us any personal information.

Information you give us

• Account: name, email, mobile/WhatsApp number, city and (optionally) address, and a securely hashed password. Used to run your account, orders, referrals and the monthly lucky draw.
• Orders and enquiries: name, phone, email, delivery address, items and notes — shared with the jeweller who sells the item so they can deliver it or reply to you.
• WhatsApp rate alerts: your number, only if you subscribe; you can unsubscribe at any time.
• Jewellers: shop details, contact details and products you publish.
• Lucky draw: your entries and any screenshots you upload as proof for share tasks. Screenshots are stored privately and only seen by our team. If you win, we publish your first name, last initial and city.

Information collected automatically

• Cookies: a session cookie (keeps you logged in and protects forms), your chosen currency, your language choice, and — if you arrived through a friend's invite link — the invite code for 30 days.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, device and approximate location. Google's privacy policy applies to that data. We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the pages (clicks, scrolling and anonymous session replays, with anything you type hidden); Microsoft's privacy statement applies to that data.
• Advertising: some pages show ads or affiliate links; ad partners may use cookies under their own policies.
• Your cookie choice: if you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask before loading analytics and advertising cookies and load none of them unless you press Accept. Pressing Reject keeps them off and the site works the same. The choice is stored for 6 months in a cookie called grd_consent; change it any time with Cookie settings in the page footer. Cookies needed to run the site (login session, form protection, language and currency choice) are always on.
• Security logs: IP address and time of requests, used to stop abuse (for example repeated login attempts) and kept for a short time.

Payments

Online payments are processed by the payment provider you choose (for example JazzCash or Easypaisa). We do not see or store your card or wallet PIN; we only receive the payment result.

How we use and share information

We use your information to provide the service, process orders, send the emails you expect (order confirmations, account and password emails), run the lucky draw, prevent fraud and improve the site. We share it only with the jeweller fulfilling your order, our service providers (hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics) and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Keeping and protecting your information

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, connections use HTTPS, and access to customer data is limited to our team and the relevant jeweller. We keep account data while your account is open and order records as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes.

Your choices

You can update your profile in your account, unsubscribe from WhatsApp alerts, turn off marketing emails, block cookies in your browser, or ask us to delete your account and personal data by contacting us.

Deleting your data

To delete your account and personal data, message us from the email or phone number on your account (see Contact below) with the subject "Delete my data". We confirm your identity, then delete or anonymise your account, alert subscriptions, referral and lucky-draw records and uploaded screenshots within 30 days. We keep order and invoice records only as long as tax and accounting law requires. To stop notifications on a device immediately, tap 🔔 → Turn off; to remove WhatsApp alerts, reply STOP or contact us.

If you connected an Instagram or Facebook account to our app, you can also remove it in Instagram → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites (or Facebook → Settings → Apps and websites); we then delete the access token we stored.
