How do I delete my account and my data?
You can delete your account yourself at any time: Account → Profile & password → Delete my account. It takes effect immediately. You can also ask us by email or WhatsApp and we will do it within 30 days.
1. Delete your account yourself (instant)
- Log in and open Account → Profile & password.
- Open Delete my account, enter your password and type DELETE.
- Click Delete my account. You are logged out and your data is removed straight away.
2. Ask us to delete your data
If you can't log in, or you only used our alerts, orders or enquiries without an account, send a request to info@goldratesdaily.com or on WhatsApp +923313337253 with the subject "Delete my data", from the email or phone number you used with us. We may ask you to confirm it's you. We complete requests within 30 days and confirm when it's done.
3. What we delete
- Your profile: name, email, mobile number, city, address and password.
- Your referral link and code, lucky-draw entries for the current month, and screenshots you uploaded for share tasks.
- Your notification (price alert) subscriptions and WhatsApp alert number.
- Marketing preferences and security data linked to your account (login IPs, tokens).
4. What we keep, and why
- Order and invoice records (items, amounts, delivery details) — required by tax and accounting law and for warranty or refund claims. They are unlinked from your account and kept only as long as the law requires, then deleted or anonymised.
- Past lucky-draw results — the published winner name (first name, initial and city) and audit record of completed draws, so the draw can be verified.
- Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis (within about 30 days).
- Anonymous statistics (visit counts, page views) that can't identify you.
5. Connected apps (Instagram, Facebook, Google/YouTube)
Customers never log in with Facebook, Instagram or Google on our site, so we hold no data from those platforms about you. The only connection is our own business accounts, used to post our content. To remove any app access you've given:
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → remove.
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove.
- Google/YouTube: myaccount.google.com/permissions → remove access.
When access is removed, any token we stored stops working and is deleted.
6. Data on your device
To stop notifications on a device, tap 🔔 → Turn off (or block notifications in your browser settings). To clear the app's saved pages and settings, uninstall the app or clear site data for GoldRatesDaily.com in your browser.
